The Pilates Studio at New Motion is committed to high-quality movement and the Pilates principles of working with control, concentration, centering, precision, breath, and flow of exercises. Our instructors use the following criteria to define working levels:

Pilates Mat

Learn the key techniques: breathing, postural alignment, and basic exercises that will get you moving safely and strongly in your life. We'll build from the basics and change it up. Come have fun with us!

Barre Class w/ Angie

Barre is a low-impact group exercise set to music using various techniques inspired by Pilates, yoga and ballet. It offers a total body workout utilizing full range motion, half range motion and holding to increase strength, improve joint mobility, posture and body awareness. Through the use of small weights, bender ball, Pilates magic circle and yoga strap you will work and then stretch your muscles creating an enhanced mind-body connection that will carry over into your everyday activities.

Mindful Movement

This is a Pilates based low-impact class. We work on balance, strength and find our core to help us better move through life's daily activities. Great class for all - no floor work.

Functional Fitness

Low-impact, full body exercise that focuses on functional movement, strengthening, and balance. All ages welcome and encouraged to join this fun, energetic class to improve overall fitness and strength.
